Cocoa the Lilac Crowned Amazon is 25 years old (hatched May 2001) and had the same owner since “birth”. He/she says “Hi, Cocoa” “ Whatcha Doin” “ Woof, Woof” and whistles “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean”. Readily steps up onto a perch and then your hand. Has middle feathers trimmed but can fly short distances. Can be extremely loud. A great bird!
